I have really enjoyed finding out more about Monash Kindy. I think your Kindy is an exciting and wonderful place to learn. I enjoy my visits to Monash Kindy and love to see you using the computers and the KidiPads. Keep having lots of fun while you are learning!

Hi everyone, I had a lovely time at Monash kindy last Wednesday 1st August; thanks to the children for showing me some of what they do, and to Anne-Marie, Jo, Popi and Penny for their friendly help. I saw childen helping each other, having fun and being busy learning lots! (and Popi’s pumpkin soup was delicious!)

To my Kindy friends,
I couldn’t come to Kindy today because my Mum and Dad are both really sick and they couldn’t even drive me to Kindy. I have been looking after them. I got Mum a glass of water and I picked up the newspaper of the driveway for Dad (but he hasn’t read it yet).
I have been swinging on my swing and I have been tracing and writing. I have also been cutting paper and have made little presents for Mum to make her feel better.
I will see you all on Wednesday. Bye for now.

Dear Eddie, your kindy friends and teachers,
Today is your very last Kindy day! What a journey it has been. You were so small and fragile when you first attended Monash Kindy. I handed you over to Liz on that first day and went home with a broken heart. Over the year you have grown in confidence, skill, socially and of course physically. I know that when you start school in Term 2 both of us will be strong and brave because Monash Kindy has taught us how wonderful learning is and how special are the teachers that guide children through these early learning years. I know that you are keen to leave Kindy, but I feel a little sad at the end of this special time in our lives. Monash Kindy will hold a place in our hearts and of course in you Eddie because it has been your good beginning to education. Thank you Anne-Marie, Coralie, Popi, Sally, Jane, Jo, Liz, and Penny.

Just wanted to say hi from down here in the city! I miss Berri and miss Monash kindy but have settled into my new kindy at Rostrevor. I start at Stradbroke School after the holidays and I am very excited. I love my new uniform and school bag and the playground there.
I want to wish all my other friends moving onto to school there all the very best too and enjoy your “last” day at Monash on Wednesday. A big hello to Trinity, I often think about you! It was good to see you Sally at the beach (a while ago now!).
